What's In the Library
The Bishop England High School Library print collection contains more than 10,000 books that students can use to find information, do research, read for classes or just read for the fun of it.
The BEHS Library also offers a wealth of online resources for students, including 30+ full-text databases in Discus; thousands of full-text journal articles in JSTOR; and links to high-quality, reviewed Internet resources.
How to Use the Library
Search for information using the links below or the menu above, or ask for help at the Library Desk. You also can email Ms. Bing, the Librarian.
Students may check out up to 7 books at a time, for three weeks at a time. Books can be renewed if nobody is waiting for them. Selected reference books may be checked out overnight. Overdue fines are 10¢ per school day; 50¢ per school day for overnight checkouts.
Photocopying and printing are free. We ask that you use both wisely.

Hours
The BEHS Library is open Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm. The Library is closed during school holidays.
Donation Policy
The BEHS Library collection is fortunate to have many alumni, parents and friends willing to donate their books and their time. We can't thank our generous volunteers and donors enough.
If you are interested in donating books, please email or call Ms. Bing at 843-849-9599 to see if your books meet the collection development guidelines in terms of publication content and date. At this time, we really need current non-fiction and fiction books. Monetary donations that can be applied to new print and electronic resources are always greatly appreciated and welcomed. Thank you!
